The Torture Room

You push open the metal door, and enter the room. There is a nearby staircase leading down into a visible ground floor. With good reason, this is the absolute lowest point in the castle. Peppered around the room are medieval devices of torture. In the corner you spot a tall item resembling a carcophagus. Your limited knowledge of ancient culture tells you that it is an Iron Maiden, a particularly dreadful device used during the times of Lords and Knaves to imprison victims within it's metallic shell, and impale them upon the painful spikes within. Next to that is a stretching table, aptly named, for it was (is?) used to stretch it's victims far beyond their normal length, rending flesh from bone, and allowing them to survive long enough to hear their own spine snap, and tear apart. The mere thought of how many must've perished within this Hellacious dormitory sickens you. That, along with the morbid stench still present within this quarter. You continue, past various other, equally tormentable devices. If nothing else, you can gain historical enlightenment from studying this chamber, and it's many pieces. You shine your torch in a corner of the room. "Oh my God!!" you gasp. Lying in the corner, aged beyond description, is a human skeleton. You move closer to the figure, it's bones corroded, and bleached pure white, both side effects of the cruel mistress, time. Could the Owner of the Estate have known that it was down here. If so, then he definitely has a lot of explaining to do. But he's an old man. Perhaps he's never ventured to explore any further into this corridor than his bedroom, and his laboratory. He seems to cherish that so. No, he couldn't have known. But still, you must tell him. He must know. Clenched ever still as tightly as when it was first held by a hand with life in it between the skeleton's hand is a note, it's white page yellowed, yet again by age. You pull the piece from his grasp. Scribbled on it is a cryptic message.
'The House of Secrets Lies Within the Heart of the Keeper of the Gateway To Eternity.' it reads.
But wait. This paper has an emblem on it. SunCorp, the factory a few miles from here!! There were reports in the news recently of workers who'd gone missing while on the outskirts of the factory, but.... no one ever found them. No, it can't be!! The realization finally hits you now. Something isn't right within this castle. You know that now. Others must know it too!!! You have to alert them. If only you can get out of this damnable place in time. You turn to the door leading out of the room, and hurry towards it. Suddenly, the door slams shut. Your torch flickers, then goes out, leaving you, your thoughts, and the demons of your mind manifested as a brush against your legs, or a random sound in the darkness. At this moment, you learn the true meaning of true terror.
What will you do now?

There's Only One Thing I Can Do Now.
